Young Researchers in Gender and Social Sciences Conference

12–13 November 2026
Puerta de Toledo Campus, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
Room 0.A.01

About the conference

The conference brings together researchers working on gender inequalities across the social sciences at different points of their careers, and gives them a space to present ongoing work, receive prepared comments and build contacts beyond their own institution.

Four thematic panels cover political behaviour, socialization, backlash and the far right, labour markets, care work, migration, representation and gender-based violence. A closing roundtable brings together senior scholars to discuss the main challenges facing gender research today.

Everyone is welcome to attend any session, and undergraduate and master's students are particularly encouraged to come.
